The Goring joins the 100 top hotels of the world

The Goring, London’s oldest and favourite privately owned 5 Star Luxury hotel, is proud to announce that once again it has been included in US Travel & Leisure’s List of the 100 top world-wide hotels. Furthermore, it is the highest rated hotel in London, one of only two properties in the city included in this prestigious list.

The Goring, founded in 1910, is just five minutes walk from Buckingham Palace. Earlier this year it received the award of the ‘Best British Restaurant’ at the Tio Pepe ITV Awards Ceremony.

The Dining Room is well-known as a haven of all that is best in superb British cooking, and the wine list is one of the most comprehensive in the capital. The Garden Bar, overlooking it’s own amazingly large secret garden, right in the heart of London, has become something of a destination of late. The 71 state-of-the-art bedrooms and suites are all luxuriously and comfortably decorated: When OG Goring opened the hotel in 1910, it had 100 rooms, and was the first to have an en suite bathroom to each bedroom. Today’s innovations are just as far ahead of their time, but the 29 missing rooms have been absorbed into even larger accommodation.
